Having problem with easyshare trying to open my email photoz-never set it up to do email. any suggestions?

when my friends sent pictures through my email this stupid kodak message comes up that it can't open the file. I never set it up to open my email pics and am not very computer literate. Not very impressed with easyshare, either but my husband uses it for business. Is it possible to just uninstall it on my end without screwing up his stuff?
