I have been watching animal planet lately and I was wondering what their jobs were called?

I have a natural talent to memorize and know things that deal with animals. So I can watch Animal planet and memorize all the facts they go over just by hearing it once. I was wondering what those people call their job because I want to go into the profession. I don't think it is a zoologist because these people actually do field work and go to the animals natural environment in the wild to study it. I'm 16 years now so I need to know what to study. I want to major in lions or the cat family which I guess is some form of zoology.
