Parents-Has this ever happened to you with your children?

My eldest son never tugged on his ears or complained of pain. The only real clue we had that something was wrong is that he throws up every time he gets an ear infection. At least he used to, at nearly 7yrs he seems to be outgrowing that. It does tend to make you feel bad when your child turns out to be really sick when you thought it was something minor. Been there and felt that guilt!
