I need a lawyer!!!!!!HELP!!!!!?

I married my husband and he and his dad( when he was 17) bought a car for my husband. My father and mother in law are taking possession of the car when it is in my husbands name first and foremost. They have the cops on their side(its a small town) and they are mean and hateful for no reason what-so-ever. His family is attacking me and their son for every reason in the book...and they wont give us the car back. We need a lawyer...and bad! Only thing is we are newlyweds, buying a house and have a two year old, money is not exactly growing on trees for us...his father is threatening physical abuse against me and his mother is also doing the same thing...I feel horrible because they obviously hate us...and are out to get us...what can we do, legally, to either get the car out of my husbands name, and get them out of our lives?
