Why do so many people mock the Catholic priests?

Because of a few bad apples people want to chop down the whole tree. Catholic priests are human and have their own worldly vices. However, they should be the most revered of any holy men that walk the earth. With the exception of these few who have been overly exposed by a radical media, these men have given up the chance to have a wife and family to serve God alone. Unlike the monks who have chosen to live a life of solitude, these priests spread the word of Jesus to his followers and guide us the best they can to achieve eternal life. "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone." Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice' sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
