Has any one expirenced speech problems with an increased tsh levle?

my tsh was only 6.8 not very high but i have slurred speech, mood swings, hard to walk, heaveniss in arms and legs, tingling, swelling and spotty memory i am taking .005mg of synthroid how long before i start improving
