Small sharp pains in early preg?

I get pains very similar to that, and I am about 6 1/2 weeks. I went to the E.R. about a week ago because of them and because I was having some very light pink spotting like you mentioned. The doctor did a blood test and pelvic exam and everything with the baby was perfectly normal. I did however have a l infection (similar to a yeast infection) that he treated me for..and I haven't really had as many problems since. Hope all goes well for you!
