How do i show my boyfriend i love him?

As i didn't get a boyfriend until the age of 28, yes i'm a late bloomer, i'm so ecstatic and yet scared. Everyone loves him, me included, and i just want to find ways of making our relationship stronger and doing things for him he loves. He's so sweet, gentle and charming, that i don't exactly know what he wants as he says that he loves everything i do for him. If i could have some suggestions that would really help as i tend to think of all the things he would love from a very girl perspective. I.e. go out for long dinner dates so i would really appreciate some help here. Thanks:)
