Pain in lower right hand side of stommach near appendix?

hi i am having a pain in the lower right hand side of my belly almost over the appendix region. i have had the pain for almost 24 hours now but it is not like a normal appendix pain the pain will come every 20 - 30 seconds and feels like a pinch then goes again. i don't know if this is appendicitis as the appendix pain normally hurts the whole time or when you move but this come and goes like every 20-30 seconds
