To many nail polish layers?????

ok. if i have to many layers of nail polish on, will it ever harden or will it always make creese lines if i bump my nail. heres what i did. i put one layer of clear coat first. three layers of the actual polish cause it was a very light pink, and a french tip. then, i stuck a sticker decal on it, and tons and tons of clear coat after that cause the sticker kept wanting to raise up. so will it ever get really hard? or will it always be soft? it needs to last today and tomorrow at least.
